How did you acquire your ride?
I bought my mustang through a Chapman Dealership. I had never driven one before!
What drew you to it when you bought it?
It was a beautiful and strong looking car, bold and yet economic plus powerful for it's class. Also the Vista blue color stands out so good in the sun it was irresistible!
What do you feel like when you drive it?
I love it, even though the V6 lacks power compared to it's V8 engine, it definitely packs a strong kick at the low revs which is what I love about muscle cars.
What would you change about your car, if anything?
I wish I had a GT, V8 so much more power sitting stock!
What is your dream accessory for it and why?
New 18" bullitt wheels, they just tend to fill up the gap and look so much better on these mustangs. Plus bullitt wheels are as classic as it gets. I'd also like to get an Eibach pro kit I'd love to close the gap between my wheels and the car. I'll be purchasing a cold air intake with a tuner so further increase my car's performance. I'll probably stop there for a while since the wife seems to see everything I do costs us money haha!
Any other general ride info to share?
I added 10" dual silver metallic stripes on my car as well as side stripes that read Mustang GT with a pony. I replaced the emblem to GT on the rear center emblem and installed carbon fiber vinyl on the interior dash. Looks beautiful! UPDATE 8/3/2014 I removing the stripes and dipped my car in a Matte Anthracite. Black gloss boss styled stripes and roof soon to be wrapped. Wheels for now will be dipped in a glossy black finish! UPDATE 8/18/2014 Wheels are now semi-gloss black dipped, rooftop is wrapped gloss black and retouched up the dip completely for a smoother non textured finish. Looks pretty good so far. UPDATE 8/30/2014 I added a black boss style stripe to the hood of the car with 3M scotchprint vinyl. It's a 12 " stripe with two half inch pin stripes. The last thing I'll be doing to top of the color and appearance of the body of the car is place black vinyl on the rear deck panel area instead of buying an actual deck panel.
