The biggest turd ive ever had the displeasure of sitting in. Bought brand new in 2003 and about as soon as it hit 50k miles it went down hill. Has 89k on it now. Current things that are bad on it, trans is slipping hardcore when changing from 1st to second gear, exhaust manifold leak at the head (manifold gasket pushed out) inner CV shaft bearings are whining, ABS and Trac control lights come on 24/7, drivers side rear motorized door closes and then immediately opens again, in the rain the interior lights flicker on and off, weather stripping on the passengers side rear door fell off so it leaks if you dont put duct tape on it, A/C only works in the back and clicks and thumps if you put A/C to the front vents. Was in the shop back in the winter because the rear axle rusted in half (fully covered by ford motor company and had to drive around in a 2011 HHR for 6 months) gotta love the build quality on the biggest pos since the Probe…
