I want a Mac
I don't doubt they are
I don't doubt they are good and all, but I don't see myself using one anytime soon. I don't really have a need for it and my PC works just fine for me and when I'm on the road I have a dell that works just as good.
My husband and I were
My husband and I were considering buying a Mac for our next computer but when it came time to buy a new computer, we just went with windows again, lol. Maybe one day, we will actually buy a Mac.
I have tried using a MAC
I have tried using a MAC desktop in the past and had a terrible time with it. I used to work as a paraeducator at a local middle school here. When the school got new computers a couple years ago, they all were MACs. Sometimes it was part of my job to take a group of students to the school library to do research on the Internet. Oh my heavens, that was awful! The connection was so slow and I just did not have any experience with using a MAC at all. It could have been due to the school server our internet was on, but whatever the reason, I swore of MACs right then. Although, a MAC laptop might be a totally opposite situation.

It would be most likely the connection and/or firewalls. I'd talk to the network administrator if it was that bad as there is no excuse for that any time in the past couple years.
For me some of my fondest memories of computers are Apple II Es and IBMs from the second grade. We used to play Oregon Trail in school after winning the Apple. It got stolen and we got an IBM donated.
I'd love to get a Mac to use for my design work. Most likely a MacBook Pro for me, possibly a desktop. My biggest issue is the cost compared to a similar tier of PC.
Considering A Mac
I'm never used a Mac. My best friend's daughter has had a Mac laptop for several years and she's very happy with it. I've been considering trying a Mac. I'm planning on buying my first laptop in the next six months or so.

Some are decent depending
Some are decent depending on what you are going to use it for. I know someone that just spent about 1300.00 on a new lappie but it wasn't a Mac, though the only reason he got this one is that it was cheaper than the Mac he was looking at.
