Im waiting for the Explorer Hybrid.

Alright while going through my stack of Business Weeks I found a reference to Ford adding two more hybrids to the lineup next to the Escape. I checked and there is an Explorer being tested as well, although the Escape is still their darling. http://www.bu­sinessweek.com/…9_4168­45.htm?…

I dunno if they would put out both the Explorer and Escape in a hybrid. While larger vehicles would be nicest in hybrids for their fans, using the smaller SUV is more in line with the current trend toward downsizing as well as conserving fuel. Except for cars I don't see there being a benefit to multiple hybrids in a vehicle type by a car company. At least not for their bottom line.

I haven't heard anything but that would sure be awsome. I think there will be one, with the competion of the Chevy Tahoe hybrid, Ford should bring out a bigger hybrid SUV and the explorer would be perfect.
