Hey guys, there is something that has always been at me and could never understand..... Why is it that in America cars are given such huge capacity engines? Over here (Ireland), we have cars with anything from 1 litre to 2 litre, and rarely anything above, except for Mercedes and the like. I always wondered why it is that you need such a big engine to get power when we can have a 2.0 RS Focus engine develope 400 to 500bhp when tuned without reliability problems? Even Manufacturers over here are developing engines like this, Volkswagen for instance have recently brought out the 1.4TFSI engine, developes 200 odd BHP and still returns about 40–45mpg!! Not that I don't like my Mustangs or anything, I got a ride in one before and it still makes me happy to think back about it!! You have to understand that a Mustang would be a rare sight in Ireland!! :-D
