My 94 GT from time to time has issues with the speakers making loud obnoxious noises when i start the car. I have to kick the plastic panel to the left of the clutch and it usually goes away. Is this a Ford thing?
What makes you think its a Ford thing? Have you heard of it happening on other Ford vehicles? I haven't personally.
It sounds like a fairly simple wiring problem-take it to a dealer, shouldn't be hard to fix.
I was having a similar problem with the stereo in my Escort and it turned out it was a wire that wasn't connecting properly. Took my brother less than a half hour to find the wire and tighten it up. (My brother is happy unless he's under the hood of a car so it makes both of us happy when I find something wrong with my car that he can fix.)
