My best friend does not eat in his car. not even so much as a tic tac or bottle of water passes his lips. While I admit many a fry has fallen under my seat to be forgotten I think he's a bit strict. Do you eat in your car or not?

If I can avoid doing so

If I can avoid doing so I will, but otherwise sometimes I admit I do break the don't eat in car rule. Its bad I know but it can be done without making a complete mess of the car, sometimes. :)

We had a blanket ban on

We had a blanket ban on food and drink when the car was brand new. Then it eased up for the not so messy stuff, lower risk. Still don't allow anything horribly smelly, whose smell might stick around.

We eat in the car yes, and

We eat in the car yes, and just take care. With kids around, you can't drive too far without food and drink and don't always have the time to stop and sit down to eat. So we just do what we can.

I have not done this since

I have not done this since I was a teen as it tends to lead to a bigger mess than most think. We all think we will never spill something but that's just not always the case.

I always say I'm not going

I always say I'm not going to, and am extra careful the first couple months. Then I give in and the cups and bags slowly pile up (although they are removed weekly if not daily). My new diet is helping with that too though.
