The safest Fords
What are the safest Fords you can buy that also get the best gas mileage? I would like to find a new Ford in the next year or so, but I want it to be safe enough for my son to drive in a couple years. I would also like to find something that gets great gas mileage so my hubby could drive it to work. I know that safety depends mostly on the driver, but I want a good solid dependable car that I can feel confident with when my son is just learning to drive.

Ratings change from year to
Ratings change from year to year, even for the same model. Sometimes they change one little thing and it either kills the ratings or makes them safe enough to consider a good choice. I'd suggest purchasing a consumer guide whatever year you end up buying and look at their safety ratings and other car ratings (safest, best mpg, etc). You will most likely either find a clear winner or something thats close enough.
