2009 Ford Escape a top safety pick
The 2009 Ford Escape and Escape Hybrid, along with the Mercury Mariner and Mariner Hybrid, were named “Top Safety Picks” by the IIHS (The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety), while the Escape and Mariner SUVs also earned the US government’s top 5-star crash ratings in both independent crash tests and in combined crash safety and fuel efficiency ratings.
This is great news for Ford and for us, as they continue to deliver top of the range safety standards in their vehicles.
