How soon
Many places are trying to come up with better ways to run our autos now, and some have proven quite well in testing but how long will it take before everyone can afford an auto like this? I know some are shy on the note since they really cant afford to do so right now.

It depends how much people
It depends how much people want it. I think that the more we make it clear that current options are not enough, the faster that these things will be pushed to mass production.
As the price of fuel
As the price of fuel continues to rise-and I am sure that it will go back up again in the not too distant future, then people will start to think of hybrids as being far more affordable. When the savings in fuel are great enough, it will make the higher cost of financing seem insignificant.
