Owner's Manuals
Do you read the owner's manuals that come with your car, or do you just dive right in and play around with all the features in your car to figure out how to use it?
I just finished reading my manual….its taken years.
I normally read my owners
I normally read my owners manual the first chance I get, and often have had to track down an owners manual in the used vehicles I've owned. It doesn't keep me from playing around with every button first thing, but it does help make sense of some things later on.
I don't think I've ever
I don't think I've ever read one but use it more as a reference guide for maintenance, specifications, operating intructions, etc. I've never really considered it „reading material“ or something that I would need to read in order to know everything about my car. Normally the sales folks make sure that everything is understood before I leave the dealership.
Ha! No offence, but I'm
Ha! No offence, but I'm going to assume that Chris is a man. The way you wrote that just made me think of my father-he refused to read any instructions, for anything, saying that they were there as ‚reference material‘. That takes me back a bit ;)
I must say that I read
I must say that I read the owner's manual for my current car. I was just excited to finally own a car that came with an owner's manuel. Every car I have owned prior to this one has been a rescue car – rescued from the junk yard that is.

Well most of us all know
Well most of us all know how to use a car but sometimes those things do come in handy you know. I read my lst one but the car before that I don't think it has moved since it was put in the car other than to shift around for more room in the glove compartment.
