Can you change a tire?
There are tons of people out there, most I end up seeing with a ton of talk and no proper know how around their own car let alone be able to change a tire. Can you?

Hypothetically yes, but as
Hypothetically yes, but as many people have learned a tire iron, even an after market full size one as opposed to the tiny OEM one, is not always strong enough to remove the nuts after they have been put on at a dealership or tire place with a machine. So while I can, I might not be able to. Good thing we have a AAA membership and plenty of friends local should I need help.

It takes a few practice tries at first to be able to do it efficiently and correctly, but once you've learned this skill it stays with you for life; it's actually not as hard as it may look, for someone who hasn't done it before. Just be sure to learn the correct technique from the start.

Yes I can change a tire. Its been a long time since I have had to, but I could still do it if I needed to. I think it's an essential skill and that anyone who has a car should know how to do it.

Well, in theory I can change a tire. My husband has made me watch him so that I would at least know how and I have loosened the nuts but that's it so far. I've been lucky in that I have never had a flat tire.
I would be rather afraid
I would be rather afraid to be out on the road in some of the places I travel to without the ability to change a tire. I wouldn't want to be waiting for AAA or some other rescuer to come and help me.

I've watched my Dad and my Hubby change many a tire however, I'm not sure if I could or not. If I were in a situation where I had no choice but to do it myself, I would. But, I can't guarantee it would be put on the right way! I think this is definitely something I NEED to learn!

I've never changed a tire on my own, but I've seen it done enough to be able to figure it out…provided it is the same model car and jack system…lol
