Involving the Kids
Do you get your kids involved in your detailing work? It used to be such a nice part of our weekend, growing up, that we would wash the car together on a Saturday afternoon. So now I am trying to involve my kids a little, but it makes me nervous!

Do you think that there is
Do you think that there is any risk of scratching the car at all, by having little ones doing it? That's my only real fear, I don't want to end up paying for it, for involving them.
We always used to do
We always used to do anything outside together if possible. Learning to work together (and not soak each other with a hose on accident) is a good skill building task and more fun than folding laundry or scrubbing toilets.
If you can start them early
If you can start them early go for it. Its a good way to bond with your kids, teach them a little responsibilty and have a fun time all at once.
