Get a Mac…..ahhhh now
Get a Mac…..ahhhh now there's an idea. I would love to go over to Apple, life would be so much easier then. In the meantime I just hope that they keep the support going long enough to fix Vista.
I'm a die hard person when
I'm a die hard person when it comes to the XP OS. I probably will eventually drift to the Vista, but what I've seen of the Vista, it won't be any time too soon.

XP is not being shipped
XP is not being shipped with most new computers and sometime in the next couple years support will be phased out. It has been this way with every other previous OS which encourages movement to a new product which means more sales and better profits. This doesn't mean that you can't still buy it on Ebay.
It is next to impossible to
It is next to impossible to find a new pc w/XP on it anymore. I bought my pc a year and a half ago and it came w/Vista. I hated Vista so much that I ended up shelling out $150.00 to buy the XP Pro OS from ebay. I love XP but I'm sure my next pc will also come with the dreaded Vista already installed.

Locally there is a computer
Locally there is a computer shop that is selling machines with your choice of OS-Ubuntu, XP and Vista. My most recent purchase came with Vista, but I changed it to a copy of XP that I had on the shelf.
Is it hard to switch Vista
Is it hard to switch Vista to XP? I might just buy the XP program so that I can upload any more computers that I get to XP.

I thought MS decided to continue support for a couple more years? That is surely enough time for many people to either load up to Vista or get a Mac or something, right?
