Dust In Lens

I love my camera. It's a few years old now, but is a 7.1 mega pixel Canon A610. Its done me proud in the three years I have had it, but now it's got a problem.
There is dust behind the front lens. It needs to come out, but I don't know how. Is there any way I can do this or do I need to take it to a shop?
Depending on how its put
Depending on how its put together you may be able to do it yourself with some specialty screwdrivers, and a Qtip with alcohol to remove and clean. Try Googling for a schematic of the insides on a camera forum to see if its easy to take apart and put back together. It might save you a lot of
It might save you a lot of time and effort to just take it to a shop that is qualified to do camera maintenance and repairs. If it were mine, I wouldn't try to clean it myself if it means having to pull it apart at all, though you may be lucky and the camera may be designed so that it is easy for you to do the job yourself. Perhaps you can find some instructions for it in the user manual?
