Does anyone keep something in their ride handy for in case of accidents? I have done this for many years, after having kids in the car you can get the idea why its needed.

We normally have something

We normally have something akin to a cross between a lite EMT kit/what a police officer carries and what your AAA tow truck driver might carry. Its always a bonus to be in security and have all sorts of fun stuff the company provides for you to bring with you on site.

I had a friend in college

I had a friend in college who was a firefighter/EMT. He went snowboarding and slipped and scrapped the front of both shins to shreds. He limped to his car and fixed himself up with gauze and tape and what not. The EMT on site said they probably wouldn't have done a better job, lol. He carried a full EMT responder kit at all times in his stylish Volvo wagon (his F250 was for work only).

I have two different types

I have two different types of emergency kit in the car. The first is a child kit-it has spare clothes and underwear, and a blanket for if it's cold. It also has essentials for me-stockings, a small first aid kit and a sewing kit.

The big kit that we have is adult-has a large first aid kit, tools for the car, flares, emergency rations, a large blanket and two silver foil blankets.
