How well do Fords perform generally, in crash testing? How do they compare to other ranges, and which, of all the Fords currently in production, is the safest as far as crash test ratings are concerned?

Usually the manufacturer site will have them listed, since the ratings are a very big thing. You could always Google the year and make and find them as well more likely than not. Many of their models do pretty well.

I used to have a site bookmarked for this but now I have gone back to it and they want money to tell me the answers when I check out different models/car types. Anyone know of a free place to check out?

I don't know how well they compare to other companies, but you can see the crash test ratings for all the models on the Ford website. The Taurus does pretty well!
