Brother In Law's Explorer
I'd like to know, too
Especially the question about how many the Explorer seats. Our family will most likely be doubling in the next few months (long story – you don't want to hear it) and we need to get something that seats 7–8, preferably. Anyone know the MPG for the Explorer?
When you say big family,
When you say big family, how many people is that? How roomy is it inside? Are you still able to carry gear in it, and still be comfortable inside?

Well Ford says the
Well Ford says the 2008 seats 7 and gets 20mpg. Two front row, three middle row, two third row. Not too sure how much room is left for stuff behind the third row seat but it does fold down.
