Air Shocks for Futura EL

I am looking to buy some rear air shocks for my Futura 97 EL but I can't seem to find them anywhere. If anyone knows where I can buy a pair or can recommend a certain brand that would be great.

I don't really know where to point you in the right direction other than looking online for a local place. I had a friend that did this and it took him months to find someone since he lives in a small town he still traveled to the “next town over” before he found someone that could do it.

I agree, online is your best bet. Make sure to contact the store or seller to double check its the right part before purchase and have a good idea of what it may cost from a dealership before buying.

This sparked me up a little, has anyone heard of someone taking 2×4's and use as springs? I just heard this last night from a couple of red necks and they swear its been done before. Isn't that insane?

I think it's a bit insane yes. They wouldn't be tested for wear and tear and you could never be sure that you weren't going to bust one when you hit a dip in the road. I'd be terrified of driving like that!
