Are Mustang II's really that terrible?

There are a number of schools of thought regarding Ford's Mustang II, with some feeling that it was a terrible car, others who vehemently defend it's existence, and others still who lie somewhere in the middle.

Personally, I really don't think they were as bad as some people seem to think.

What are your thoughts about it?

The Mustang II is a good car. Granted it may have a few quirks but so does every car.

I find that most people who are so against mustangs either don't know anything about them or has never owned one.

Personally my advice to you is to test drive one for yourself and come to your own conclusions.

I totally agree. It’s been my experience that those that downgrade a Mustang have very little knowledge of them. I’ve owned a Mustang since I was 16 and know something about them. It’s my opinion that the Mustang II is a good car too.

i own a 1978 cobra II i love this car . drive one i dont know why if it wasnt for this car who knows if the mustang would be around now ......
