Older is better

I don't care of today's Mustang models compared to the ever cool models from the first generation of Mustangs. The best Mustangs ever built were from 1965 – 1969. There is nothing more satisfying than driving a vintage ‚65 – from the comments I get from others, I‘m not the only one who prefers the classic styles.

They are definitely called

They are definitely called classics for a reason. I think that when the Mustang was first reborn that they did a terrible injustice to the name „Mustang“. While today's version is definitely better than those it still just doesn't have the style, etc. that the older models did.

I think that a good

I think that a good portion of the problems that people have accepting the newer models is the over complication of them. You have the fact that they are computerised, and that means that there are a whole lot more things that can go wrong with them, and a lot less that the user or owner can fix.

I think soon the younger

I think soon the younger crowd will realize what the older ones mean by „They don't make em like they used to“ soon enough. I have had more issues with vehicles in the past few years than we did when I was growing up that's for sure.

I agree they have been

I agree they have been doing a good job of combining new and retro in some of the new styles. My favorite Mustang is and always will be a 68 in robin's egg blue. My neighbor used to own one and used to let us borrow it when I was a kid and it had a CB radio in it, lol.

It takes a long time to get

It takes a long time to get used to new things and I can vouch that I am not the best when it comes to change. I think it depends what years you are looking at where some come off looking better than others.

I think when they first

I think when they first changed the mustang that it looked horrible. Today they are starting to remind me of the muscle cars of old. While nothing can replace the classics, the new ones still look great!

Every mustang fan I have

Every mustang fan I have ever met offline or online has their favorites, I tend to skip some generations and sometimes just years. While I love my 65, 67 & 70's Im not too fond of the early 90's, but I like the later ones. And while I dont really care for anything thats 02–04'ish, I like the last few years models. I guess we all have our picks.

You know what? While I do

You know what?

While I do agree that the older Mustang models were definitely better, I still do love the new ones as well.

And besides, I think it all comes down to a matter of opinion anyway.

My favorite car may be one that you personally can't stand, and that's still fine!

Either way, I feel that Mustangs both new and old are better than most cars of their kind.

I love the oldies too

While I do think the newer models are very sporty and stylish looking, I still love the oldies. I'm a big fan of everything that came out between 1967 and 1977. I just love those classics. But, I do think the more recent models look very cool cruising down the street too. Hey, we've all got our favorites and not everybody likes the same thing. That's what makes the world go around.

Strangchic, I love the mustang in your avatar. Is that your car or did you get it from the gallery? The '67 cherry red mustang is my all-time favorite.
