“Project Last Ride” a tribute to Joe Gosinski

(Las Vegas, NV) – A 2011 Mustang 5.0 was chosen as the Mustang of choice for a tribute car that’s being built in memory of Joe Gosinski of Chicane Sport Tuning. Joe was found murdered on December 23, 2010 in his shop and, in his memory, Sal Valdez a former customer and Matt Bernal a former employee joined together to create this custom Mustang to bring exposure to the tragedy, possibly find the killer, and keep Joe’s memory alive.

The goal with the car, beyond memorializing Joe, was to build the car in the Chicane way–simply perfect, with great attention to detail. This car is not only a show car, but also one that you can take to the track and race. It currently features a Vortech Supercharger, Doug Thorley Headers full exhaust and long tube Tri-Y headers, custom yellow Baer 6 inch piston calipers and 14 inch rotors, custom Vossen wheels, and a Trufiber custom hood, front lower air dam, splitter, rear trunk lid, side rockers, wing and rear diffuser.

The Project Last Ride Mustang is pumping out over 600 horsepower. We captured a couple photos from today’s SEMA show unveiling.
