Fan Appreciation - Nicholas Haanen

Here at we like to take a moment every once and awhile to appreciate our fans because without them CoolFords wouldn't even exist. Today we would like to appreciate Nicholas Haanen of Oceanside, CA.

Nicholas has shared his photography talent with us via a number of CoolFords articles that have been featured on our site, one of his last events was covering the Cruisin' Grand. We took the time to contact Nicholas and below is what Nicholas had to say.

CF: What Fords do you own?

NICHOLAS: I own a 2006 Ford Mustang GT Convertible.

CF: How did you get started in photography?

NICHOLAS: In 2004 I picked up my Father's Canon G5 PowerShot which had 5 mp and 16x zoom, then in 2009 I purchased the Olympus SP-800 semi DSLR, which I learned the basics of the camera functions and felt that I was ready to upgrade from a point and shoot camera to a DSLR, so in late 2011 I picked up a Canon Rebel T2i.

CF: What’s your favorite Ford vehicle and why?

NICHOLAS: My favorite Ford vehicle is the Mustang of course, there is so much you can do with the interior and exterior, let alone the possible engine modifications and the list of customization goes on and on.

CF: Why do you like CoolFords?

NICHOLAS: I like because there is a lot of Ford fans that have the same passion as I have for Mustangs and other Fords. And the event coverage of past and present Car shows is Cool as well. You can see other Cool Fords member’s rides and pictures on your site, and the community is a Cool factor of your site.
