Tell everyone a little about yourself?

My name is Ben Eddington and I am a college adviser for a major university. I live in Ramona, CA with my better half Valerie and our “herd” of animals at our home that we call HorsePower Ranch.

How did you got started in photography?

My interest in photography began in high school as a hobby and over the many years since I’ve worked as a portrait photographer for private studios, freelance portrait photographer working side jobs, to mixing my love for cars with photography and creating my brand as it is today.

What kind of Fords do you own, and what got you started liking Ford?

I currently only own one Ford and that is my 2003 Mustang GT which I purchased new when I worked for Ford Motor Company. My love for Fords actually began in my teenage years when my dad rekindled his love for muscle cars by buying his 1990 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Hatchback that he and my older brother turned into a monster that won several trophies on the car show scene before it was totaled in a bad wreck in the late 1990s.

In addition to my Mustang GT I have owned a 1982 Mustang GT and a 1992 Ford Mustang 5.0 LX Hatchback. The Ford love isn’t just my own, my dad now has a 2003 Ford Mustang Mach 1, my mom has a 2008 Ford Mustang GT, and my older brother has a 1988 Ford Mustang GT 5.0 Convertible which actually has the drivetrain from my dad’s original 1990 GT.

What’s your favorite Ford vehicle and why?

I could be biased and say my GT, but I will be honest and say that after learning about the 2012 Boss 302 Laguna Seca and all that it can do I must say that is my favorite Ford. Having a factory built Mustang like that would be a dream and I wouldn’t hesitate to own one if I were financially blessed enough to do so.

Why do you like CoolFords?

I like CoolFords because it stays true to it’s core promise in that is continuously promotes an open love for all vehicles ever produced by Ford Motor Company. There is no bias for or against a particular nameplate and as a Ford fan myself I like seeing other Ford owners taking care of and promoting their rides that carry the blue oval. CoolFords also gives us Ford fans a place to share our passion for our Fords and also helps us all connect with Ford Motor Company on a level that isn’t available anywhere else.
