I got the opportunity to spend the 4th of July weekend in Washington DC. We had a great time and did a lot of sighting seeing. We started off with a 2-day double decker bus ride around the city which was cool because you could see a lot and jump off and check the sites out and then jump back on the bus again and go to the next destination. For July 4th we watched the parade and walked around the Mall which was jam packed with people, later that night was an awesome display of fireworks.
