2015 GT Gets a Performance Upgrade

MALVERN, PA (January 20, 2015) – Having previously owned a 25th Anniversary Fox Body that he was forced to part ways with, it was a dream come true for AM customer Mike Smith when he bought his 2015 Mustang GT 50th Anniversary package. Mike loved the looks of his new 2015, but was left wanting more in the performance department. Mike turned to AmericanMuscle to help modify his 2015’s sound, power and drivability.

Wanting a more aggressive sound as well as a less restriction from his exhaust, Mike chose to use the Flowmaster American Thunder Axle-Back, which really allowed his S550 coyote engine to howl. To back up the improved sound, Mike went with an Airaid Cold Air Intake and Bama Performance SF4/X4 Tuner, complete with a Bama Tune.

In stock form, Mike’s GT made 384 RWHP and 362 RWTQ. After adding his mods and a Bama Tune, Mike’s ’15 GT put down 407 RWHP and 379 RWTQ. Mike was very pleased with how the drivability had improved with the Bama Tune and the new power it was making. Mike plans on modding his 2015 GT more and will be returning in the future for modifications.
