(Grand Rapids, MN) – Day 2 of the Weekend of Wheels in Grand Rapids, MN. Sunday morning arrives and it's time to hit the car show and Swap! one of the largest car corrals I have seen up here in the Northland. Many cars for sale and some interesting rides can be purchased here.

My favorite part f this show is the swap meet and flea market. Plenty to look at from cars, car parts and goodies for you ride as well as other collectables. This year we snuck over for a peak on Saturday, usually I save my hunting for Sunday but I wanted to see the good stuff I keep missing out on. A quick walk through on Saturday and I did spot one item I would get on Sunday if it was still there.. I never do feel like I have “seen it all” at the swap and this year was no exception.

Lots of food and vendors to satisfy the tummy. Last 2 years I have stopped at this little known stand for their “Potato Treats” as I called them. Baked potatoes with a variety of goodies to top them off depending on your personal choice. Yum!

As for cars during the show there are usually quite a few here not seen the day before. I really enjoy some of the vintage and early cars. Nothing brings a smile more than a Model A for me anyhow.

This show isn't so much about the awards, there are a few but I think many are happy to receive the random drawing cash prizes. Show ends shortly after the drawings, good thing too because after Saturday's Northern Cruisers Show and this one… this guy is plain wore out from all the fun.

If you ever get the chance to visit the Minnesota Iron Range at the end of July, these are 2 car shows well worth the visit.
