(El Cajon, CA) - Cajon Classic Cruise gears up for its 11th season. Held Wednesdays, April 6 through October 26, and December 7, 2011 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm located at Main Street and Magnolia Avenue. For more info tune in to Downtown El Cajon Radio FM 104.1 during the show.

Downtown El Cajon is revving up for 31 shows of the 11th annual season of the Cajon Classic Cruise, Southern California's largest weekly car show! Come join the more than 50,000 members of our community (and beyond) who attend each year, enjoying such themes as National Night Out, Halloween Trunk or Treat, and Holiday Parade of Lights, just to name a few.

Presented by Sycuan Casino and the El Cajon Community Development Corporation, the Cajon Classic Cruise features classic, custom and hot rod cars and motorcycles in a street festival setting every Wednesday evening, April through October; the show is always free of charge to participate and attend.

The Cajon Classic Cruise is centered on East Main Street at Prescott Promenade, just east of the intersection of Main Street and Magnolia Avenue in the heart of Downtown El Cajon. Spreading out over several blocks, thousands of spectators each week stroll El Cajon’s booming historic downtown district while enjoying the cars, the action, restaurants, street vendors, food, DJs, and live entertainment presented amid a vibrant small town atmosphere. Trophies are awarded weekly in several categories and all classic cars 1979 or older are welcome to enter just by parking in and around the show area. Winners are notfied by windshield placards, so be sure to visit your own vehicle throughout the show to check for winner notifications and instructions.

Please note that East and West Main Streets will remain fully open to traffic during all car shows this season; so please follow all traffic and pedestrian laws when crossing the street during the shows.
