The tough debate

You can check out my ride here: http://www.coolfords.com/…ery/node/753

The thing is i need a daily driver to commute to work. I love my Mustang but the suspension upgrades i have done doesnt lend itself well to public (bumpy) roads. So my debate is whether to get a new car , truck or SUV. And what to do with my current ride; sell, trade, or hold.

The 4-door car would be the most practical for gas and comfort. However im an adventurer and i like camping, so a truck or SUV would be best for mild off roading as well as storage and load carrying. I got my eye on the Escape Hybrid but i just dont know if that SUV is big enough and at the price i dont know if its practical.

With my current ride i have dreams about tearing it down and rebuilding it with better suspension and gobbs of horsepower. Its going to need a lot of work to get it where i want and i know every mustang enthusiast can relate with their project car as a work in progress. As i think long term, i find myself maturing from a road racer to more of a cruiser, maybe its the 4 speeding tickets talking – i dont know, maybe im watching too much Overhaulin with Chip Foose and what he can do with a classic Mustang.
